Abstract

PT Tri Mandiri Sejati merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang distribusi sepeda motor. Permasalahan yang terdapat pada PT Tri Mandiri Sejati merupakan permasalahan tata letak pada perusahaan yang tidak optimal karena posisi material dan letak setiap departemen belum berada pada kondisi yang efektif dan sistematis. Metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah tata letak fasilitas pada PT Tri Mandiri adalah metode Systematic layout planning. Systematic layout planning merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk mengatur tempat kerja dengan menempatkan area dengan frekuensi tinggi dan hubungan logis dekat satu sama lain. Total Ongkos Material handling keseluruhan per bulannya pada layout awal adalah sebesar Rp3.662.301,00 dan pada layout usulan adalah sebesar Rp1.642.995,00. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa layout usulan telah meminimasi ongkos material handling keseluruhan sebesar 44,8%.
