Feasibility Analysis of New Road Development Plan Purwodadi-Batu East Java Province

Abstract


Transpotation is one part of the human need to perform the displacement activity. The current condition, Purwodadi-Batu road traffic passing through Karanglo is so dense that travel time is long and there are frequent accidents. For that need to be planned new road as an alternative. Building the road beforehand requires a feasibility study in terms of traffic and highway economy with the method of Vehicle Operation Cost Analysis (VOC), Time Value Analysis, and Economic Analysis include Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Net Present Value (NPV), and Analysis of Internal Rate of Return (IRR). From the result of the economic analysis, obtained values of BCR is 8.43127 (based on PDRB) and 12,71785 (based on inflation) and values of NPV is Rp 15.445.372.918.072 (based on PDRB) and Rp 24.121.665.089.262 (based on inflation). From these result, it can be conclude that the construction of Purwodadi – Batu Road is feasible to build.
