Analisa Preventive Maintenance System Dengan Modularity Design Pada PT. Surya Pamenang

PT. Surya Pamenang is one of the private companies engaged in the paper industry with the type of paperboard. Most of the company's products are marketed overseas while the rest are marketed domestically. Because the products produced are mostly overseas, the quality of the company's products needs to be maintained. One factor to be able to maintain this is the condition of the production machine that must be in good condition. To be able to maintain the condition of this production machine in good condition, one effort that can be done is to take care of this production machine. In this research, modularity design is tried to be applied in preventive maintenance activities to replace Blade Coating Machine. The results showed that the application of preventive maintenance with modularity design can reduce costs by 24.31% from the initial state (corrective maintenance).
PT. Surya Pamenang adalah salah satu perusahaan swasta yang bergerak dalam bidang industri kertas dengan jenis kertas karton. Produk hasil perusahaan ini sebagian besar dipasarkan ke luar negeri sedangkan sisanya dipasarkan ke dalam negeri. Oleh karena produk yang dihasilkan kebanyakan pangsa luar negeri, maka kualitas produk perusahaan perlu dijaga. Salah satu faktor untuk dapat menjaga hal ini adalah kondisi mesin produksi yang harus dalam keadaan baik. Untuk dapat menjaga kondisi mesin produksi ini dalam keadaan baik, maka salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan perawatan terhadap mesin produksi ini. Dalam penelitian ini, modularity design dicoba diterapkan dalam kegiatan preventive maintenance penggantian Blade Coating Machine . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan penerapan preventive maintenance dengan modularity design dapat menurunkan biaya sebesar 24,31% dari keadaan awal (corrective maintenance).
