PERAN REMAJA SEBAGAI AGEN PERUBAHAN UNTUK PENCEGAHAN STUNTING

Stunting merupakan masalah pertumbuhan yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan gizi kronis dan infeksi berulang. Pencegahan stunting harus dimulai sejak remaja, karena gizi yang salah dapat menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan gizi pada remaja. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Gadingharjo, Bantul, dengan tujuan mengedukasi remaja terkait pencegahan stunting. Kegiatan ini mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan pengukuran status gizi dengan alat antropometri, serta praktek pembuatan makanan sehat berbasis sumber pangan lokal. Dengan kegiatan ini, diharapkan remaja memiliki pengetahuan untuk mencegah stunting dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat.
