Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.) akibat Perlakuan Dosis dan Waktu Aplikasi Pupuk Organik Cair Air Limbah Ikan Lele

Using liquid organic fertilizer from catfish wastewater is an attractive alternative to increase crop yields. This research is intended to investigate the growth and production of cucumbers, which are influenced by the combination of dose and time of application of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) from catfis wastewater. The experiment was realized from May to July 2022 in Ngantru Village, Trenggalek Regency. The research design was a factorial, Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and 3 repetitions. The treatment tested was the POC dose of catfish waste (D), with 3 levels: 300 ml/polybag/application, 400 ml/polybag/application, and 500 ml/polybag/application. Another treatment was the POC (A) application time, with 3 levels: 3, 5, and once every 7 days. Observation variables were weight and number of fruits per plant, length, and diameter of fruit, number of leaves, and plant length. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), and results that showed significant differences were tested further with the Least Significant Difference(LSD ) at a significance level of 5%. The interaction between dose and time of application of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) from catfish wastewater showed a significant difference in plant length at 14 and 21 days after planting (DAT). The use of POC doses from catfish wastewater specifically significantly affected the number of leaves at 21 DAT and the length of cucumber fruit. However, separately, the treatment dose and time of administration of POC from catfish wastewater did not significantly affect the number, diameter, and weight of cucumber fruit.
Dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil tanaman, penggunaan pupuk organik cair dari limbah air ikan lele menjadi alternatif yang menarik. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menyelidiki pertumbuhan dan produksi mentimun yang dipengaruhi oleh kombinasi dosis dan waktu pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) dari air limbah ikan lele. Percobaan terealisasi pada bulan Mei sampai Juli 2022 di Kelurahan Ngantru, Kabupaten Trenggalek. Rancangan penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dan 3 kali pengulangan. Perlakuan yang diujikan adalah dosis POC limbah ikan lele (D), dengan 3 level, yaitu: 300 ml/polybag/aplikasi, 400 ml/polybag/aplikasi, dan 500 ml/polybag/aplikasi. Perlakuan lainnya adalah waktu aplikasi POC (A), dengan 3 level, yaitu: 3; 5; dan 7 hari sekali. Variabel pengamatan yaitu berat, dan jumlah buah per tanaman, panjang, dan diameter buah, jumlah daun, serta panjang tanaman. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA), dan hasil yang menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan diuji lebih lanjut dengan Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada tingkat signifikansi 5%. Interaksi antara dosis dan waktu pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) dari air limbah ikan lele menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan terhadap panjang tanaman pada umur 14 dan 21 hari setelah tanam (HST). Penggunaan dosis POC dari air limbah ikan lele secara khusus berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun pada umur 21 HST dan panjang buah mentimun. Namun, secara terpisah, perlakuan dosis dan waktu pemberian POC dari air limbah ikan lele tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap jumlah, diameter, dan berat buah mentimun
