The average number of weeks between article submission and publication in the JATIMAS can vary depending on various factors. These factors may include the complexity of the research, the number of revisions required, the availability of reviewers, and the overall publication schedule of the journal. While it is difficult to provide an exact average timeframe without specific data, we can provide a general estimate based on common practices in academic publishing.
On average, the publication process in scholarly journals, including JATIMAS, can take several months. From the time of initial submission, it typically takes a few weeks for the editorial office to conduct an initial screening, desk review, and check for adherence to journal guidelines. After this, the manuscript undergoes a peer review process, which can take several weeks to complete, depending on the availability and responsiveness of the reviewers.
Once the reviews are received, the authors are given an opportunity to revise the manuscript based on the feedback provided. The time taken for revisions varies depending on the extent of revisions required and the authors' response time. After the revised manuscript is submitted, it undergoes further editorial and production processes, including copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading.
Considering these various stages, it is reasonable to expect that the entire process from article submission to publication in JATIMAS can range from several months to a year. However, it's important to note that this is a general estimation, and the actual duration may vary based on the specific circumstances and workflow of the journal.
