Respon Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Bawang Merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) Akibat Konsentrasi dan Interval Waktu Pemberian POC Sabut Kelapa

Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) are classified as horticultural commodities with a strategic role because the product is very much needed for household, industrial, and culinary consumption. This study aims to optimize and determine the response of shallots due to the provision of coconut fiber-based POC based on different concentrations and time intervals. Data collection for the research experiment was carried out in the experimental garden (greenhouse) of the Faculty of Agriculture, Kadiri University. Meanwhile, the basic media used was soil mixed with manure with a ratio of 2 1. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design. The first factor is the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer, while the second factor is the time interval for administering liquid organic fertilizer. Each factor has 3 levels, including: K1 = administration of 50ml L-1 POC; K2 = administration of 100ml L-1 POC; K3 = administration of 150ml L-1 POC. Meanwhile, the levels of the two treatments are I1: once every seven days; I2: once every ten days; I3 = once every 14 days. Based on the findings, the concentration and interval treatments significantly affected each parameter of the age of certain plants. Still, the interaction effect only occurred on the number of leaves parameter at 3 MST.
Bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) tergolong dalam komoditas hortikultura dengan peran strategis, dikarenakan produk yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk konsumsi rumah tangga, industri dan kuliner. Tujuan penlitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimasi dan mengetahui respon bawang merah akibat pemberian POC berbahan sabut kelapa berdasarkan beda konsentrasi dan interval waktu. Pengambilan data percobaan penelitian dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan (greenhouse) Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Kadiri. Sementara itu, media dasar yang digunakan adalah tanah yang dicampur dengan pupuk kendang dengan perbandingan 2:1. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap faktorial. Faktor pertama yaitu konsentrasi pupuk organic cair, sedangankan faktor kedua adalah interval waktu pemberian pupuk organik cair. Masing-masing faktor masing-masing memiliki 3 taraf yang meliputi: K1 = pemberian POC 50ml L-1; K2 = pemberian POC 100ml L-1; K3 = pemberian POC 150ml L-1. Sementara itu taraf dari perlakuan dua yaitu I1 : 7 hari sekali; I2 : 10 hari sekali; I3 = 14 hari sekali. Berdasarkan hasil temuan, perlakuan konsentrasi dan interval memberikan pengaruh nyata pada setiap parameter umur tanaman tertentu, namun pengaruh interaksi tersebut hanya terjadi pada parameter jumlah daun pada 3 MST.
