Strategi Penerbitan Nomor Induk Berusaha sebagai Pilar Pemberdayaan Pelaku UMKM Gresik

Empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the issuance of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) is a crucial strategy for strengthening the local economy. The background lies in the challenges faced by MSMEs in Bulangkulon Village, Benjeng District, Gresik Regency, which require support to overcome business legality issues. The objective of this research is to raise awareness and facilitate the issuance of NIBs for MSMEs in Bulangkulon Village. The research methodology combines field observations, direct interviews with business actors, and consultations with the village government and local community. The results indicate that through community work, collaboration with the village government, and NIB issuance facilitated by relevant authorities, a number of business actors have successfully obtained the necessary business legality. Discussion of the results identifies strong enthusiasm from partner communities despite facing challenges such as limited resources and administrative complexity. In conclusion, this program has achieved its goal of supporting local economic growth and empowering MSMEs in Bulangkulon Village. Continuous evaluation and improvement are necessary to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of this program in the long run.
Pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) melalui penerbitan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) merupakan strategi krusial dalam menguatkan ekonomi lokal. Latar belakangnya terletak pada tantangan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM di Desa Bulangkulon, Kecamatan Benjeng, Kabupaten Gresik, yang memerlukan dukungan untuk mengatasi masalah legalitas usaha. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan memfasilitasi penerbitan NIB bagi pelaku UMKM di Desa Bulangkulon. Metodologi penelitian ini menggabungkan pengamatan lapangan, wawancara langsung dengan pelaku usaha, dan musyawarah dengan pemerintah desa dan masyarakat setempat. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa melalui kerja bakti, kerjasama dengan pemerintah desa, dan fasilitasi penerbitan NIB oleh Dinas terkait, sejumlah pelaku usaha berhasil mendapatkan legalitas usaha yang diperlukan. Diskusi hasil mengidentifikasi antusiasme yang kuat dari masyarakat mitra, walaupun dihadapi dengan beberapa tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan kompleksitas administrasi. Kesimpulannya, program ini berhasil mencapai tujuannya dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal dan memberdayakan pelaku UMKM di Desa Bulangkulon. Evaluasi dan perbaikan terus diperlukan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan efektivitas program ini dalam jangka panjang.
